Job Description

A highly regarded Global Insurance Company has an opportunity to join their claims and operational support departments in this newly created role as an Claims Data Administrator.As a Claims Data Administrator you will provide support to the claims department and overall Insurance operation across both the Nottingham and London sites.Key duties include:

  • Process claims data that is received into the mainframe system
  • Make accurate payments for claims received
  • Provide administrative support to Claims Handling teams
  • Assist workflow by providing an efficient and proactive service to all key stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage any queries that arise from the loading of data
  • Proactively manage the funds or data produced by the loading of a declaration
  • To reconcile and audit the declarations processed
  • To assist with maintenance of procedure manuals
  • To correspond with brokers/underwriters/third parties as necessary using standard documentation wherever possible
  • To ensure that work is completed within the departmental service standards
  • Support the Declarations Supervisor with the completion of a wide range of tasks
  • To provide assistance to colleagues and any other department in the group as required
To be considered you must have current administrative experience with good I.T skills especially excel which you will use on a daily basis. Experience within an insurance would be desirable but not essential. All other administrative backgrounds will beconsidered especially those within a regulated environment. You must be able to understand the importance of urgency, attention to detail and accuracy.You will be rewarded with an excellent benefits package including a total holiday allowance potentially in excess of 40 days per year.
