Job Description

This is a rewarding role that heads up the Technical Accounting Team of the Finance Department to provide leadership and direction in the production of the Annual Statement of Accounts, Treasury and Banking Services and Group Insurance Services.Client DetailsMy client is a Public Sector organisation based in NottinghamDescription

  • Leading and providing technical direction to the development of the accounting framework and for the preparation of the statutory accounts.
  • Managing the operational aspects of Treasury Management, Banking Services, Asset Register and Insurance contracts.
  • Liaison with the Internal and External Auditors and lead and manage the reporting of all statutory government/CIPFA/NFI/WGA returns
Profile
  • Formal Accountancy qualification (CCAB).
  • Enthusiasm and leadership qualities to deliver a service to be proud of.
  • Knowledge and experience of closure of Public Sector accounts.
  • Strong technical skills
  • Previous man management skills or aspirations
  • Proactive approach
Job Offer£50,652 - £55,074 plus an expected 5% pay award to be awarded
