Job Description

Robert Half Talent Solutions have partnered with a growing Accountancy Firm, based in Nottingham as they look to add to their talented team. They are looking to appoint a Chartered Accountant to work closely with the Managing Director and provide exceptionalsupport to the clients. The business has been increasing their client portfolio by 20% month by month, with future scope to add more Chartered Accountants into the team.The Accountancy Practice have offices based in Nottingham and are commutable from all areas of Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough, Belper, Mansfield, Grantham and Newark.As the Chartered Accountant, you will be involved in:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
  • Assist clients in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimise clients financial performance and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to assess internal controls and risk management procedures.
  • Assist with tax planning, compliance, and preparation of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their accounting needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure clients receive accurate and up-to-date advice.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
The successful Chartered Accountant will be:
  • Fully qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a professional accountancy firm or relevant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
