Job Description

About The RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Catalogue Production Supervisor to join our fast paced and dynamic Marketing team at our Head Office in Nottingham City Centre.You will be reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager and you will be supervising the design and art work for a number of catalogue and publications that go out to our vast customer base.What youll be doing:

  • Control the artwork production process from start to finish of all catalogues, supplements, mailing materials and POS work, delivered through external design agencies, ensuring work is of a high quality and deadlines are met.
  • Manage external design studios including brief development & handover, proof production, , delivery of artwork ready data, image handling / repro.
  • Photography briefing and direction, and assessing incoming product image suitability for print.
  • Lead the production of catalogue page artwork, templates, designs, mock pages and other artwork as required using InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Explore new ways of presenting catalogue pages and catalogue related material
  • Supervise the Catalogue Production Executive, ensuring performance standards are reviewed and met.
  • Manage the image database and update with new product images, making them available for use by the E-commerce team.
  • Work closely with the Direct Marketing Manager, defining and implementing continuous improvements to catalogue production methods, quality and consistency.
    • What youll need for this role:
  • Several years experience of large pagination catalogue print and flyer production.
  • Design & page layout experience.
  • Impressive eye for detail.
  • Familiar with creating agency briefs
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
