Job Description

Care Worker| Nottingham| £11.68ph including holiday payRocasa Consulting is currently recruiting for a new and exiting role as Care Worker in Nottingham.Our client is seeking for some enthusiastic and committed Care Workers to join their day service. The service supports adults with learning and physical disabilities to achieve as much independence as possible and live a fulfilled life. The main purposeof the position offered is to meet the personal needs of service users and assist day service staff within the implementation of support plans. This will include work within the service or supervised work in the community.DetailsPay rate: £11.68ph including holiday payWorking hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 15:00Contract length: ongoingKey Responsibilities

  • To provide a range of assistance and support in response to the day to day personal, physical, and emotional needs of service users as described in care plans.
  • To provide high quality support and personal care with full regard to privacy, dignity and particular needs and relate to people in a manner which is sensitive to age, disability, sexuality, gender and cultural origin.
  • To positively support individuals within a risk management framework and to advise supervisors/managers of any risks or unresolved difficulties.
  • To liaise effectively with carers, relatives, specialist workers, support groups, customers, and legal representatives as appropriate
Requirements
  • Knowledge/appreciation of service user needs and abilities and that of their carers.
  • Experience of working directly with vulnerable adults, either on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting
  • Moving & handling (practical) (essential)
