Business Analyst | Perm/ Hybrid | East Mids | £45-50k + benefitsJob Title: Business AnalystJob type: PermanentLocation: NottinghamSalary: £45,000 - £50,000Benefits: Hybrid, Pension, 25 days Holiday, BonusXpertise as experts in IT recruitment have been appointed by a Professional Services firm in Nottingham. The need to recruit is driven by the expansion of the team to cope with exciting current and future project demands. The Business Analyst is expectedto work with a wide number of IT and business stakeholders and ensure that all projects meet business needs and deliver true benefits.This business is looking for talented people who can join and develop within the business unit. They are looking for people who can question the business and department heads and are not afraid to do so, to get answers.

  • Provide the initial point of contact with the business to discuss and manage expectations, whilst identifying their key IT needs, through a consultative regular engagement.
  • Working with business stakeholders at all levels to define requirements and scope
  • Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and where appropriate, document the ‘As-Is’, ‘To Be’, and ‘Gap’ to further enhance the processes to greater efficiencies.
    • Establishing business cases, costs, and benefits.
    • Proven experience with business and system requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, data modelling, and prototyping.
    • Assist in developing, standardising, and maintaining new or improved processes within the Business Analysis function.
      • Working with project managers as the projects progress through to delivery.
      • Manage relationships and communication with key project stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear and regular and that expectations are managed
      • Work with technical teams and project managers to ensure that the technical solution is fit for purpose
