Job Description

Role - Bid WriterLocation - Nottingham (Hybrid working)Salary £45-50k Dept on Exp Opportunity for progressionWe are seeking a Bid Writer to take responsibility for all elements of the bid process for a Nottingham based industry leader.Supporting the Bid Manager, the role of Bid Writer will include planning, designing, and delivering proposals and tender responses as well as:

  • Conducting research to enhance and tailor bids including sector, client, competitor, product, equipment, and solution service research.
  • Provide end-to-end support throughout the bid life cycle, including tender kick off, proposal management, presentations and obtaining stakeholder feedback
  • Develop tailored win themes and bid production strategies
  • Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentations, ensuring that written proposals are clear, concise, and compelling
  • Both attending and leading meetings to obtain stakeholder engagement, subject matter technical and qualitative bid information, and collateral.
  • Work alongside a team of Subject Matter Experts to develop strong, tailored responses.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a Bid Writing role as well as:
  • APMP or similar accreditation ideal
  • Experienced in writing and presenting technical and qualitative content
  • Ability to develop a rapport within the bid team and with wider business and stakeholders
  • Organised, process driven and possess strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft applications qualifications or suitable experience
