Job Description

Bid Support AdministratorBilboroughUpto £22,000Our client is a rapidly expanding organisation in the IT sector - looking for a new Bid Support Administrator to join their friendly team.The Bid Support Administrator works within the Bid Team, reporting directly to the Bid Manager.Working closely with other members of a small and busy team, you will be responsible for assisting with a number of administrative tasks relating to IT Hardware maintenance contracts. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role.Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and actioning of incoming emails
  • Logging and acknowledgment of new maintenance requests
  • Requesting supplier quotations where needed
  • Creation and preparation of quotation templates using Excel
  • Population of quotation templates with data from various sources in readiness for the team
  • Checking geographical/engineering/SLA capability using internal tools, such as visual mapping tools etc
  • Production of standard maintenance quotations using predetermined pricing or process using Excel or our online web portal
  • Managing and facilitating responses to customer and supplier queries
  • General administration support as part of the broader team and it’s service requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Administration experience ideally within a commercial environment
  • Strong MS Office and Microsoft Excel skills (including vlookup/xlookup/data comparison)
  • Great customer facing skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Bid experience is desirable, although not essential, as full training is offered
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • An understanding or interest in IT Hardware is advantageous but can be learned on the job
Hours of work: 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pmWill move to a hybrid based working pattern, 2 days a week home based, subject to competency and confidence in the role. Will initially be office based.Apply now!
