Job Description

My client, a leading property maintenance company are seeking a Bid & Marketing Manager to join their team.Key Responsibilities

  • Line management of the Bid Coordinator
  • Manage the bid process from end to end
  • Attend all tender and proposal briefings, liaising with Subject Matter Experts as and when required
  • Managing inputs from a variety of stakeholders, to respond to new business opportunities and pitches
  • Proofreading final material and providing technical and commercial writing skills where required
  • Contribute to bid research - client, competition and market
  • Managing a library of company standard SQ and tender responses
  • Managing the organisations social media, website and marketing strategies
  • Designing of company marketing strategies and campaigns and evaluating their success
  • Ensure consistency between internal and external communications
  • Production of promotional materials
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst obtaining and sharing best practice with the team
Key Skills
  • Must have previous experience in a Bid/Marketing position
  • Ideally qualified to Degree level
  • Construction Industry knowledge - Ideally familiar with property services would be an advantage
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills with a good degree of commercial awareness
  • Be highly organised and ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with formatting, reviewing and proofreading content
  • Knowledge of MSOffice including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices on occasions
