Job Description

Working within the Johnson Controls Global Marine and Navy business your role will be essential to achieve overall business objectives providing bespoke lifesaving public address, and alarm systems to our customers. Working within the Production cells, totest and repair wired and PCB (Surface Mount & Through-Hole) assemblies, checking against relevant drawings and parts lists.What we can offer

  • 4 day working week – Mon-Wed 6am-4.15pm and Thurs 6am-4pm (39hr week)

How you will do it
  • Accurate and efficient test and repair
  • Quality inspection
  • Maintenance of test documentation
  • Assist in other departments such as assembly as and when required.
What we look forEssential:
  • Component level understanding of electronic circuits
  • Ability to fault find Through-hole & Surface Mount PCB’s
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (scopes, multimeters, etc)
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to follow test schedules.
  • Maintain Test Database.
Preferred:
  • Electronics qualification
  • Experience of ISO 9001 procedures
  • Digital experience
  • Telecoms experience
