Job Description

Bench Hand JoinersLocation: NottinghamSalary: Negotiable - Dependent on experienceAbout the company:Our client was established in 1997, they are a growing business that specialises in the manufacturer of joinery-based retail displays. They’re the trusted partner of many leading designers, shopfitters and contractors. Our client works in collaboration with clients to help create stunning environments and clever solutions.Bench Hand Joiner Duties:

  • To be able to produce high quality shopfitting joinery products accurately to specification i.e. Counters and other bespoke units
  • Be able to read and understand CAD drawings and cutting lists
  • Be able to use basic wood working machines
    • Key Skills of the Bench Hand Joiner:
  • Minimum of 3 years previous Joinery experience
  • Be able to work with a wide range of materials including; Acrylic; Glass and LEDS
  • Be competent working with laminates
  • Be able to use and clean off hi impact edging
  • Have great attention to detail, a solid background in the industry and have good previous experience in this field
  • Be skilled in working with MDF, MFC and Timber
  • Be able to use basic wood working machines
  • Be able to work as part of a team and under own initiative
