Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistants required in Nottingham and Mansfield.Tradewind Recruitment Nottingham have the opportunity to recruit for Behaviour Mentor/Teaching Assistants within the Nottingham and Mansfield areas. The role is full time on a temporary to permanent basis.The role is working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils with particularly challenging behaviour and SEMH needs. The mentor will follow a bespoke timetable and will build positive relationships with the pupil to promote interaction and a constructive learning environment as well as assist the class teacher and other education staff with learning activities.The successful candidate will be confident delivering a core curriculum and be a positive and engaging role model for the pupil. They will have a thorough knowledge of SEND and a holistic/therapeutic approach to education.Specialist behaviour mentors will work closely with SLT to form behaviour policies and will look at safe approaches to behaviour de-escalation techniques.There are many progression pathways at this school and the SLT want to invest in all the staffs long term future and professional growth.The school has excellent transport links to the rest of the city and county.
