Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Bar Manager for a Youth & Community Centre based in Beeston (NG9).We are looking for a Bar Manager who can oversee the daily operations of the bar, manage the staff, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.Duties of the Bar Manager will include:

  • Complete building health and safety checks
  • Answering customer queries
  • Ordering and maintaining the stock of drinks, snacks and supplies
  • Handling cash and card transactions, and keeping accurate records of sales and expenses
  • Dealing with any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • Create a positive and fun work environment for the staff and customers
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have previous experience in managing a bar or similar work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Customer service experience
  • The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
The pay for this role is £11.18 per hour with weekend enhancement at x1.5. You will be required to work on Wednesdays from 1pm-5pm plus 8 hours on a Saturday evening for events i.e. weddings, parties, dance evenings.
