You will be asked to work when required, and will have the choice as to whether or not to accept any work that we offer you.Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. Asthe recognised leader on a shift, youll have overall responsibility forregular monitoring of thehealth, care and social needs of our residents, plus the preparation, implementation and review oftheir personal care plans, including the administering of medication. Youll supervise, support coachand developother team members, and liaisewith people involved in residentscare, as well as with the residents themselves. Put simply, youll ensureresidentsneedsand wishes are at the centre of the care we provide. And as the Senior Carer on that shift, you will keep a cool head and take the lead when staff or residents need help, such as in the event of an emergency.Pay & BenefitsIn line with your casual (bank) worker assignment agreement, we offer competitive pay that is in line with those of our employed staff in similar roles. And depending on how many hours you work, you will accrue leave at an equivalent rate of 31days paidleave in a full calendar year, inclusive of bank/public holidays.(pro rata)To carry out this role, you will be provided with mandatory training to get you started, as part of a comprehensive induction. And towork for us in future assignments, you will be expected to keep your mandatory training up to date.About YouYou must be an experiencedCarer, ideally with a Level 3 qualificationin Health and Social Careor equivalent,or be committed to working towards this. Andas a leader of a team, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills.Youll already be skilled inwritingand updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication. But most of all, youll be passionate and committed to providingexceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.Finally, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (other than in exceptional circumstances), and intend to have any further booster vaccinations that are made available.
