JOB TITLE: Band 6 PhysiotherapistSPECIALITYMedical Inpatients (Respiratory)JOB SUMMARYRespiratory competence - ability to work independently with patients with acute respiratory physiotherapy needs. Role is based in medical inpatient team, covering respiratory wards.To provide vital emergency and scheduled treatment for patients with acute respiratory needs, including those with acute exacerbation of chronic long-term conditions.This includes the respiratory admission unit. Physiotherapists are required to triage, assess, treat, and discharge patients. This will require wide-ranging physiotherapy treatments including technical respiratory skills, mobility and rehabilitation skills,plus manual handling skills. Team includes B2-7 staff, working closely with OT and other AHP colleagues.
