Job Description

Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Gedling, Nottinghamshire. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of mental health nursing within the NHS.This NHS role will be working as part of the Community Mental Health Service which will require you to review a diverse caseload within a ‘task and finish’ framework. This service aims to ensure that patients are safely transferred to Primary care of the GP service to get aligned with MINT Model.This role will be 5 days a week, 7.5 hours a day.The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00 (umbrella).Requirements for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:

  • You must be a registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC.
  • Must have experience with mental health within a community setting.
  • Must have a natural care for others.
  • Must be a car driver – mileage is paid at 24p per mile.
