Job Description

Azure Security Engineer | Outside IR35 | Nottingham (2Days/Week) | 6 Month Initial | £500-£550p.dOpus is currently recruiting for a talented Azure Security Engineer responsible for ensuring ongoing security in clients cloud environments. This initial 6-month engagement offers the potential for extension.You will be required to work 2 days per week in their Nottingham office with a competitive daily rate ranging from £500 to £550, depending on experience.Key responsibilities include evaluating, implementing, and overseeing security infrastructure in clients cloud environments. Core competencies required:

  • Microsoft 365 Defender proficiency: Deploy and configure security measures effectively.
  • Multifactor Authentication experience: Design and implement solutions within cloud environments.
  • In-depth understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO): Successfully deploy SSO across cloud environments.
  • Strong governance skills: Design and implement cloud governance frameworks, incident response, risk management, and compliance management.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials: Guide clients towards achieving Cyber Essentials certification.
  • Azure Sentinel experience is a plus.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, delivering tailored cloud security solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
