Job Description

Xpertise is looking for a Cloud/Systems Administrator/Engineer Lead with an interest and/or understanding of security principles to join a fairly new tech company embarking on an exciting growth stage. The firm is using an external development team, butnow wants a Senior/Lead Engineer to move in-house, work with the external team, and eventually build out an internal team of developers/engineers as the firm matures. Please see further details below:Salary: £55-85k + bonusLocation: Nottingham + hybrid working model (remote)Title: TBC - call it what you wantKey tech / skills desired:

  • AWS: Cloud administration experience
  • ISO 27001 backgroundfor example, someone who understands the specification for an Information Security Management System and all the compliance that surrounds it would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools
  • Able to automate, create data platforms, and create alerts for the internal business and SLT to gain more control.
  • Able to identify that security checkpoints are in place.
  • Technical enough to challenge the external dev team when required
  • Self-starter who can develop systems from scratch
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in similar fields such as DevOps Engineer, SysOps (Systems Operations), Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, DevSecOps, Cloud Administration, Systems Administration
