Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Building Surveyor with a drawing and design background, looking to receive comprehensive APC support to become a Chartered Surveyor. This role offers exposure to the full spectrum of Building Surveyingservices, professional services, and project management.The Assistant Building Surveyors Role:The Assistant Building Surveyor will join a team committed to providing exceptional services in building surveying. This role is designed for someone eager to develop their skills and knowledge in various aspects of the profession. Your responsibilitieswill include:

  • Assisting in a wide range of building surveying activities, including condition surveys, defect analysis, and maintenance advice.
  • Involvement in design and drawing tasks, utilizing your background to contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Engaging in professional services such as dilapidations, party wall matters, and contract administration.
  • Actively participating in project management duties alongside experienced surveyors.
  • Receiving dedicated APC support to guide you through the process of becoming Chartered.
The Assistant Building Surveyor:
  • A degree in Building Surveying or a closely related field.
  • Experience or strong interest in drawing and design within the context of Building Surveying.
  • A clear desire to progress towards MRICS status, with a commitment to professional development.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a wide range of Building Surveying services.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keenness to grow within a supportive environment.
