Here, you’ll have the freedom to work in a way that suits you, the support to thrive and the opportunity to shape your career.Who we needOur Engineering & Manufacturing apprenticeships team are looking for a Maintenance/Machining Assessor/Trainer to provide our students with the best experience whilst at college, preparing them for their career. We work with apprentices and commercial studentsto deliver flexible, high-quality training and assessments within college and the workplace.You will work with a caseload of maintenance/machining apprentices, and be responsible for all of the apprenticeship programme, liaising with curriculum colleagues, coaching and preparing your apprentices for their end point assessment. You will championthe success of your apprentices by overseeing their learning plans, providing feedback in a timely manner to support them to achieve their goals through regular reviews.What you’ll bringYou will have the relevant industrial experience and occupational competence as well as hold a recognised subject related qualification at level 3 minimum. Essential criteria also include:- Understanding and experience of the delivery and assessment in your subject area- Experience of motivating and leading individuals to achieve results and performance targets- Have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team-based approach- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the apprentices- Demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skillsInterviews / Assessments are planned for: 28th Feb 24A place to belongJoin a diverse, vibrant community of over 1,300 staff and feel welcome from day one.
