Job Description

Apprentice Security Engineer - Chubb Fire & SecurityBuild a rewarding engineering career with one of the worlds leading security providers.Our three-year Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme is designed for people who want to become engineers in a professional field that offers tremendous career opportunities.We will provide you with comprehensive, structured training and work experience that will teach you everything you need to know about being a competent security engineer.Expect your career and earnings to develop at pace, in an environment that offers variety, challenge and job satisfaction.Salary DetailsYear 1 - £13,693.33; Year 2 - £16,818.27; Year 3 - £19,530.89What you will need

  • At least 3 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
  • You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence by the end of your second year.
  • You must demonstrate that you have the legal Right to Work in the UK.

You will find our solutions covering over 1.3 million customer sites.About the roleAs a security engineer no two days are the same. Youll be out and about, providing high quality customer service to a wide variety of customers. Youll be dealing with electronic security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV cameras, and Access Controlsystems, as either an Installation or Service Engineer.Your training programmeThe training will consist of up to week-long modules covering theory and practical classroom training, manufacturer systems training, and real-world experience shadowing Chubb engineers in the field.By the end of your training programme, youll know howto confidently install, service, and maintain a range of electronic security systems.Complete the programme and you will join one of our field installation and maintenance teams as a fully qualified engineer. Here your training will continue, with close support from our early careers team.Assessment ProcessWe run a multi-stage assessment process designed to highlight your relevant skills, qualities, and aptitude.
