Job Description

An Applications Engineer (Remote Condition Monitoring) position has just become available within a Manufacturing business working through a large period of growth. Located near Nottingham, this well-regarded business will be paying a competitive starting salary and bonus scheme, to the successful Engineering professional.Have you worked on product testing and development duties in the past Able to use Basic C / C++ developer skills within a Netbeans development environment Familiar with Linux, Nix package manager, "git", or similar systems Then we want to hear from you!Purpose of the role -

  • To provide Design Engineering support to a global Remote Condition Monitoring service and other technological solutions.
  • Work closely with the Technical Team, to ensure detailed design and implementation of a range of RCM products.
  • Liaise with other staff within Manufacturing and Sales, helping with any issues as and when required.
    • Desirable skills/experience/attributes -
  • Experience working with a similar role.
  • Ability to work from circuit diagrams, aligned with low speed digital and analogue electronics.
  • Ability to use tools such as - multi-meters, oscilloscope and power supply units.
  • Natural problem solver with pro-active work ethic.
  • Proactive work ethic, self-driven and flexible with travel requirements.
  • Relevant Engineering education, ideally Electronic or Electro-mechanical.
  • UK full driving license and Passport holder license.
