Administrator/Court Clerk Temp Role - 37 hours per weekInitially until end of March 23 probably to be extended beyond this date£11.28 Per HourBrook Street are recruiting for an administrator to provide admin support to our MOJ public sector client located in the city centreOur client is part of the MOJ family and offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable public sector admin experienceThe position is working Monday to Friday 37 hours per week and initially is until the end of March 2023. Working onsite, City Centre Location and on public transport routesAs an administrator/Court Clerk duties will include but not be limited to* Providing support to colleagues & judiciary outside of court/hearing times* Setting up attended face to face and video hearings between the parties and judge*Operating recording equipment * Maintaining of court records and recordings of hearing* Creating, updating, distributing and tracking of files, bundles, document and tapes* Preparing rooms for hearings, tribunals, trials, meetings and clearing down of rooms at the end of the day* Reception of parties at court* Providing information related to proceedings* Escorting court users into and from the court hearing room* Swearing Oaths* Liaising with interpreters and representatives from other agencies involved in court proceedings such as CAFCAS, Witness Services* Calling people into court/hearing rooms in priority order* Discussing with the judiciary and legal advisers and liaising with the witness service as necessary* Completing documents including standard letters etc* Data InputEssential Skills Required* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written* Good strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages* Accurate typing/data entry skills* Ability to work to deadlines as part of a busy team* Excellent Customer Facing SkillsIdeal candidates will be able to work in a fast paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team whilst also being able to work independentlyThe pay rate is £11.28 per hour and benefits include Holiday Pay and Pension SchemeThe role is subject to 3 years full referencing, Right to work checks and DBS checkPlease apply online with your CV in Word Format
