Acoustics Team Lead - NottinghamA multi-disciplinary sustainability consultancy who specialises in building compliance is seeking an experienced Acoustician to lead the team in their Nottingham office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, mainly within the construction sector, including traffic noise assessments, planning applications and some acoustic testing for building regulations. You will play a pivotal role in bringing the Acoustics work in-house and building up your own arm of the business!Candidates should be experienced in BS4142 & BB93 assessments; you will also be required to have demonstrable experience providing acoustic design advice. You are required to be degree qualified in Acoustics or hold a post-graduate qualification such as the IOA diploma.You will be leading a team of consultants so youll be expected to assist in the recruiting and mentoring of junior consultants, you will undertake a variety of noise assessments & business development activities.The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to building their own acoustics department to an established firm.
