Job Description

Job Title: Account ManagerLocation: NottinghamSalary: £27,000Job type: Full time - PermanentBaxter freight have a clear ambition to provide logistics with a difference. We started out by listening to the needs of our customers, offering creative solutions to them, building personal relationships with both customers and suppliers.Our mission is simple: to add value to each customers business by improving their logistics.We have daily services running from our consolidation centres in Yorkshire and Northamptonshire covering 70 depots in continental Europe and the Nordic region, a strong presence in the full and part load market in the UK and in Europe as well as fast growingair, ocean and courier divisions.The Role:Due to the companys continued success, we are expanding our current account management team. we are looking for hungry, driven and motivated individuals to work Monday to Friday 9-5 helping to understand and meet the needs of our customers.Main Responsibilities:

  • Research and source your own leads using various platforms to develop working relationships.
  • Bring on new business by engaging with clients by phone and video.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from start to finish with full autonomy in managing the accounts thereafter.
Youll be supported every step of the way, from shadowing our senior account managers to working closing with our BDM team, with 1-2-1 coaching to help build your extensive portfolio of clients.The Ideal Candidate:
  • Customer facing experience or basic sales experience (telesales, face-face and either B2B or B2C)
  • Educated to degree level (2:1 or above)
  • Confident reaching out and striking conversations with potential customers
  • Passionate about helping customers
  • Driven, with a hunger to succeed
  • Able to work independently

  • Starting salary of £27k per annum, plus a 10% guaranteed bonus in your first year (increasing with performance each year)
