Reed are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity, suited to a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual with proven experience of management and knowledge of delivering services to young people, to be a strategic lead for our clients Youth Work Servicesand join the Senior Management Team.You will oversee a highly motivated team of approx. 30 staff who provide opportunities to young people, those we are already working with and those we are still to reach, to support the young people to be leaders, take on responsibilities and inspire otheryoung people through a range of programmes and projects.This will include the leadership and management of:A highly motivated team.Performance, projects and budgets ensuring service delivery is effective, safe and on budget with successful outcomes for young people being the key driver.Research and develop new and existing services and resources for the team.External communication and campaigns.Safeguarding and risk management, ensuring processes and procedures are in place for the young people.Maintaining operational systems, policies and procedures, in compliance with legislation, regulations and quality standards.Maintaining and promoting a positive, reflective and value-based culture.You will be highly organised, an exceptional communicator with knowledge of working with young people and will be committed to living the clients values everyday.The ability to motivate and lead a team, with excellent decision-making skills and experience of project and risk management is essential to succeed in this role.Exceptional candidates will also have a proven track record of setting up and delivering funded projects from beginning to end ensuring the best outcomes are achieved for young people.This is a fundamental role in the Senior Management Team and is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is looking to develop their career within Youth Work and has a genuine desire to deliver youth services that enable and amplify youth voice.The successful candidate will receive a range of benefits including:Salary of £39,000-£45,00030 days holiday increasing to 35 after 5 years’ service (plus bank holidays)generous pension contributionscompany sick payCounselling and support through an Employee Assistance Programmeexcellent on-going training and development opportunitiessupport from an established and reputable teamcorporate events and activitieswellbeing focusregular line managementflexible workingfree tea and coffeea range of discounts through Blue Light Cardaccess to cycle to work scheme
