Seeking a Website Editor to join a highly successful company based in NorwichThis is a fantastic key role based in our Norwich office and provides the perfect opportunity for someone who has experience in working in aggregator or commercial websites in various capacities to take the next step to running their own website.As well as being a confident, creative, and highly competent writer you will combine these skills with commercial acumen to achieve the commercial goals for the website and have a track record of producing high-impact communications in a range of formats acrossnews articles, eNewsletters, infographics, reviews, tips, emails, and guides.You are a self-starter who is happy to work independently, but equally a team player working alongside graphic and UX designers and will be comfortable dealing with a wide range of internal departments, in particular collaborating with the press team.This opportunity needs you to be all over their website in terms of creating, improving, and maintaining content whilst also working together with the Advertising Sales Team and Digital Marketing Manager to identify revenue opportunities and ensure the siteprovides an unrivalled experience for consumers and advertisers.You will be able to demonstrate how rich, informative content can relate back to the various website sections and comparison tables to drive revenue.Your passion for the customer journey will drive you to recommend and implement changes that deliver commercial results. You will also work closely with the board to create a digital strategy which you will be responsible for implementing.The Role: Develop content strategy to drive short-term and long-term commercial targets. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout. Create and publish engaging content. Edit, proofread and improve writers posts. Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency. Optimise content accordingly to maximise SEO and revenue. Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic. Stay up to date with the financial industry and generate new ideas to draw audience attention.ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE- Ideally you will be knowledgeable about financial services- Knowledge of email systems- Grow brand awareness through the use of social media- Excellent writing skills- Previous experience of editing for a consumer facing publication would be an advantage- Track record of producing high-impact communicationsWhats in it for you Salary: Excellent salarycommensurate with experience Hours: 35 hrs per week Monday-Friday, although you are expected to work suchreasonable additional time as is necessary to adequately fulfil the requirements of this role.
