Location:The ability to work from home Occasional travel to different offices when required Type:Permanent - Full-timeAs team leader you will be responsible for managing the web development team that builds, supports, and maintains all group websites - ensuring that the websites are fit for purpose & meet the business needs and requirements. Aided by your team, you will alsobe responsible for maintenance of those sites, ensuring that any issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.Responsibilities:
  • Managing a team of developers (including offshore capacity) and a content editor/trainer.
  • Working closely with the appropriate businesses to deliver high-quality products.
  • Manage any change request or small projects and act as tech lead in larger projects.
  • Ensuring that any development meets the needs of the business & that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Managing Scrum and Kanban processes and removing any blockers.
  • Present and promote improvements re Sitecore functionality, usage, server setup, and any applicable 3rd party software.
  • Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code utilising excellent software development practices.
  • Creating website layout/user interfaces using the Sitecore CMS Platform.
Technical Experience: 2+ years of experience in managing a software development team Demonstrable website development (preferably Sitecore) in a commercial environment Understand responsive design principles and implementation. SEO principles. HTML, CSS and JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap. CSS pre-processing, Sass, or LESS. Visual studio and Azure Devops/Git source control. C#.net, MVC. SXA and Scriban Agile methodologySkills: A decisive, logical, and methodical way of thinking. Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritize and plan workload. Highly organized and professional approach and a keen eye for detail.
