Your journey: Over 24 months, immerse yourself in a blend of classroom study and on-the-job training, working towards a nationally recognised Water Treatment Technician apprenticeship standard. Be at the forefront of environmental stewardship,learning about Water Recycling Networks and Treatment processes.Your Role as a Water Recycling Network Field Technician Apprentice: No days are the same as you tackle a wide range of issues on our network, from blockages to pollution incidents. Your responsibilities include being the first responderto customer issues, responding to complaints and inquiries with excellent customer service, and resolving complex investigations using CCTV/tracing equipment. Youll play a crucial role in ensuring our Water Recycling sewer networks and systems meet regulatorystandards and as an ambassador for Anglian Water Services, youll be the prime point of contact with the public, promoting our brand in a positive light. By ensuring the efficient operation of Water Recycling sewage networks, you will contribute to the well-beingof local communities and the protection of the environment.Upon being fully qualified as a Network Field Technician, this role operates on a 24/7 standby basis, highlighting the vital nature of your contribution.To be successful as an Anglian Water Apprentice you will require:
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade A-C or 9-4 (if you have not completed your GCSEs we will accept predicted grades. We also accept functional skills)
  • A desire to learn while working in a practical environment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers
  • A passion for doing the right thing and delivering exceptional customer service
As well as the above, you will need a full UK driving licence. If you do not currently have this, you are required to hold a full UK driving licence prior to the completion of year 2 of the training programme.
