Job Description

R13 are currently working alongside an established Norfolk business in their search for a Warehouse Operations Manager. This role has become available due to growth within the business. The role will require you to take responsibility for the warehouse/distribution operation, managing a team of people to ensure the operation runssmoothly and driving continuous improvement.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous senior warehouse experience and strong leadership skills, to join a leading business in a key role where you will be able to grow and further develop your career.   • Taking responsibility for the warehouse/distribution operation.
  • Managing and developing the warehouse team, ensuring they meet daily targets.
  • Developing the pick and pack operation to mirror that existing on the day shift.
  • Designing and implementing new processes to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded.
  • Picking and loading of van/lorry orders.
  • Providing training and induction to new team members.
  • Ensuring warehouse stock is accurately recorded.
  • Managing the freezer loading of lager vehicle order to reduce strain on night shift loaders.
  • Organisation of rota to ensure operation is staffed at all times.
  • Ensuring costs are in line with monthly budget target.
You will have/be:
  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is essential.
  • Excellent people management/leadership skills.
  • Quality & Customer focused.
  • Able to operate well under pressure.
  • Drive, Integrity and Focus - A leader.
  • Committed, enthusiastic, energetic with a hands on approach.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Norfolk.
