Job Description

Warehouse Operations Manager - Leading UK 3PL Provider - Great Opportunity for ProgressionClient DetailsMichael Page Logistics have exclusively partnered with an exciting new client who are a 3PL business, supporting their search for a Warehouse Operations Manager, operating one of of their key sites in the UK.They are an easily recognisable, innovative, and growing company, attracting various blue-chip clients along the way. This role will give the successful candidate a chance to truly flourish within a challenging, demanding, but rewarding environment with lotsof room to progress along the way.DescriptionThe Warehouse Operations Manager role will require the individual to:

  • Report to the Regional General Manager.
  • Manage a team of 50+ operatives through 5 direct reports.
  • Manage multiple customer relationships.
  • Be responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations.
  • Have full control of the operating budget for headcount.
  • Be responsible for the inventory management through your teams.
  • Full site H&S control.
  • Accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
  • Be commutable Norwich
ProfileThe successful candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:
  • A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential
  • Be Degree educated (or similar) - Advantageous
  • Managed Multiple customers previously - Advantageous
  • A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential.
  • Have worked for a 3PL previously - Essential
  • Have managed in excess of 80+ employees previously - Essential
  • IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills ranging from Executive levels to shop floor Operatives.
  • Be results driven and commercially minded.
  • Be commutable to Norwich
Job OfferThis role offers:
  • Salary - £40,000 - £45,000
  • Monday - Friday - Daytime hours
