Job Description

VEHICLE TECHNICIANLEVEL 3 QUALIFIED - MOT TESTERNORWICH AREACLASS-LEADING BASIC & REALISTIC OTE.Our client is looking for a Vehicle Technician who is Level 3 qualified with a current MOT Tester license to join their existing team.This Motor Group is well-respected and passionate about its customers and prospers on offering excellent service and building a loyal base of returning customers. To help make this happen they need to hire an additional enthusiastic, self-motivated,team player with good communication skillsAs a Vehicle Technician, you will be an important member of the dynamic workshop team, carrying out service and repair work promptly following the manufacturer guidelines.What to expect as a Vehicle Technician with this friendly business that values its team just as much as its customers:

  • You will be working in a fully equipped workshop with the latest technologies and access to regular manufacturer training to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.
  • You will diagnose, repair and service a range of vehicles by the manufacturer and retailer guidelines, in a timely and efficient manner and to the correct standard.
  • The role will suit an experienced and fully qualified automotive technician with excellent fault-finding skills and experience working on a range of vehicles. You will be personable, hard-working, and reliable, with clear written and verbal communicationskills. A team player, you will be looking to join a well-respected company in which you will find a friendly, supportive working environment.
What you will need:
  • An Vehicle Technician NVQ level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in light vehicle maintenance and repair
  • MOT Testers Licence
  • A full UK driving license

  • To contribute to the success of the workshop by maintaining a high standard of work with quality as the overriding consideration.
  • Using the variety of tools and equipment available to you to service and repair a range of vehicles.
  • Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Using the O.E.M. training that will be provided inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
  • Take responsibility for your immediate working environment to ensure cleanliness and tidiness are maintained at all times.
  • Advise customers on vehicle use and explain the work carried out; with the guidance of other team members when required.
