Job Description

We are currently working for a Mortgage Broker based in Norwich who are looking for a Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join their team. This role offers progression, a competitive salary and the company will fully fund your Cemap qualification.This role will teach and cover the following:

  • Residential Mortgages
  • Buy to Let Mortgages
  • Secured Loans
  • Development Finance
  • Bridging Finance
  • Commercial Finance
  • Equity Release
  • Life insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection.
Key Responsibilities:
  • You will follow a structured training plan to gain knowledge and understand the mortgage market, initially working within the mortgage admin team.
  • Support the team of mortgage advisers throughout the mortgage application lifecycle.
  • Complete product research and present findings to adviser team.
  • Submit & package applications to lenders.
  • You will play an active role within the business from day one, assisting clients with aspects of their transaction.
  • You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that all case objectives and timeline expectations are met.
  • You will build knowledge on regulated mortgage and unregulated finance transactions and become a specialist in your field.
  • You will have a dedicated mentor who will provide regular 1-1s, progress feedback and guide you on your journey towards becoming a fully qualified mortgage adviser.
  • Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurately completed within agreed SLA for all new applications.
