Driving engagement with relevant stakeholders across IT and the business to understand their needs and improve QA test automation capabilities.Supporting the current shift from traditional delivery over to Agile (SCRUM) and adopting DevOps practices for software testing and delivery while working collaboratively alongside other IT team members to provide assurance of the new and existingproduct development deliveries.Identify and write test cases to satisfy story acceptance criteriaReview User Stories to assess testing requirementsCollaborate with Scrum Team members to develop effective test approachExecute test cases (manually or automated) and analyse resultsReport bugs and errors to Scrum Team developersHelp to troubleshoot issuesWork with Scrum team members and stakeholders to elicit requirements and refine User StoriesConstantly challenge test approach in pursuit of improved software qualityDevelop automated test scripts using a selection of test automation toolsBehaviours, Competencies and Experience 3years software testing experience with strong hands-on testing skills1 years experience of automated testing and tooling for Windows, Web & ideally Mobile (Android) apps and API testingYou have a good understanding of and previous experience of Agile frameworks, in particular Scum and KanbanYou understand DevOps practices (CI/CD) and the key role test automation playsExperience of writing code in C#Use of Selenium for test automationDesirableISTQB Agile Tester Foundation or aboveKnowledge of Behavioural Driven Development and using SpecFlowExperience of utilising TFS or Azure to build and track detailed test metrics.Experience of mocking interfaces/APIsknowledge/interest in SQL Server TSQLExperience of testing .Net applications
