Job Description

Our Client is looking to hire a Telehandler.This a fantastic business and one thats really going places.They were formed in 1967 with the aim of providing good-quality housing for people who would otherwise not be able to afford to buy their own home.Your role at Orbit.With an established track record delivering over 10,000 homes to date and plans to build at least 6,500 new homes before 2025, They are one of the countrys major housing developers. They also have an exciting strategic partnership with another company todeliver, with a funding package of some £129 million.They are looking for an experienced Telehandler to join them at this exciting time. Responsibilities include:

  • To operate the Telehandler in a safe manner.
  • To comply with group health and safety policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that the correct materials are provided at the appropriate time to the right workplace in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the needs of the sub-contractor are handled efficiently.
  • Ensure that the plant under your control is properly serviced.
  • Monitor waste segregation on site and ensure sub-contractors who do not comply with the waste management systems are notified to the Site Manager.
  • In the event the Telehandler may not be required, or breakdowns occur, you will act as a General Site Labourer responding to the requirements of the Site Manager.
What will help you make a difference.
  • Experienced certified Telehandler with construction site experience.
  • Hold a current and valid CPCS or NPORS ticket.
  • Hold a full drivers license.
  • Ideally be SSSTS certificated.
  • Ideally be first aid certificated.
