Technical Manager - NorwichWorking in a busy food manufacturing plant this role has been created to enable areas of the business to operate as independant business units.You will work closely with the senior management team to drive business objectives and site profitability. Managing the technical and hygiene function of your designated area of the business.Ensuring requried standards of plant and environmental hygiene are achieved as determined by HACCP, you will consistently monitor quality standards, seeking continuous improvements to standards achieved.You will promote best practice in good manufacturing practices, hygiene procedures, due dilligence and other food safety systems. Working closely with customers, ensuring all requests are responded in a timely manner.Look to seek improvements within process technology, providing support and advice to production departments to improve/solve problem process issues.Measure and improve quality technical standards or products, processes and facilities.Identify areas of site food safety risks, product, equipment, process, environmental and welfare, implement systems and procedures to reduce hazards.Train and development team, ensuring training requirements are met, monitor perfomance.You will have had exposure to food manufacturing, understand the demands of FMCG and be able to react in a time sensitive manner to any issues arising.The successful candidate will be hold a recocgnised Technical qualification, have advanced HACCP, advanced Food Safety, proven experience of managing internal and external auditing processes,If this sounds like a role for you then please forward your cv to or call Jennie on for further details
