Job Description

Technical Data Analyst/ Developer - Fully Remote - Up to £45,000 (DOE) - Great BenefitsI am currently working with client that are on a mission to disrupt the financial advice technology landscape! They have recently why teamed up with Microsoft to create one of the leading modern financial advice solutions in the market. This bespoke systemmaintained by a $4bn annual investment by Microsoft in the underlying technology, AI, and machine learning.I am looking for a talented candidate who will come in to working in the Data Services team, you will apply your understanding of data and your SQL and C# .NET development skills to onboard customers data and deliver ongoing advanced data analysis, improvement,and analytics to meet our plans to digitally enable our customers to outperform the industry.On a Day to Day, you will be..Delivery of data services to customers:

  • to work with and where necessary lead the customer and/or project team to deliver data services to a high level of quality and in a timely fashion.
  • To apply your knowledge and experience to ensure that solutions are carried out to the best technical design and architectural approach to meet the customers needs.
Working as part of the Data Services Team:
  • to assist and lead the team where and when necessary to help them deliver quality services and solutions to the customer.
Working autonomously
  • to be able to work alone on discrete projects
  • to be able to work with a customer directly
I want to talk to you if you have a background in..A working knowledge of the Microsoft stack:
  • Windows Server 2012+
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014+ including T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS
  • Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET 4.0 with C#
  • Data mapping & manipulation tools and data formats e.g., JSON, XML, XSLT, XSD, CSV, SFTP
It would be bonus if you have experience withDesirable Skills and Knowledge Areas:
  • Experienced in UK Financial Services and Systems (FinTech)
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365
