Whats up docT&C is one of the most fulfilling jobs in financial planning. Its nurturing. Its focused on personal and professional development. Its all about helping people be the best possible planners they can be. And in the right environment its much more carrotthan stick. But if youre not already doing the job it can be hard to get into. Not here. This IFA business has people on their T&C team from a variety of backgrounds. Theyre all level 4 qualified, they all enjoy helping people improve and they have a similar mindset around collaboration. But theyve come to the team from disciplineslike advice and compliance as well as the obvious route. They need someone in East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambs, Essex) and are open-minded around someones experience.Youll spend time working with 30-35 IFAs at various stages of their career. Some will be senior planners requiring nothing more than fine tuning. Others will be new to planning who need a great deal more from you.Youll have a T&C structure/framework to work from but theres a good deal of creativity involved. To start with its important to build positive relationships based on trust and consultation. Its a firm that sees its T&C function as facilitators not theregulatory police, and youll want to help everyone get the best possible outcomes. The job is as youd expect. Coaching. Training. Making sure that processes are followed and that advice/reports are correct. And when you continue the good work thats already in place, its rare youll need to wield that stick.Youll work from home and spend much of your time communicating via Teams. But youll visit one of your firms once a week and have the (very) occasional overnight stay. All travel is fully expensed. Salary is up to £55,000.Depending on when you can start theyll also be a full handover with the outgoing T&C Supervisor. So youll have a very clear idea what youre walking into.A note of caution - this is an initial 6 month contract. Its likely that this initial contract will be rolled over after 6 months but theres no guarantee of this. Please consider carefully whether this is something you can work with. But if youve reached the end of the line in your current career or want to specialise, get in touch. And bring your carrots with you.HERES WHAT YOULL NEED TO HAVE:Youll be level 4 qualified. Past exposure to T&C is great, but so is any form of leadership or mentoring or training. In short, something that points to you as someone that wants to help others improve. Its an initial 6 month contract so you need to be OK with this. You dont need to start until April so its unlike most contract positions in that sense, but it obviously has an impact on who can apply. Its helpful if you live in the patch but areas can be moved for the right person.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Keen to make a difference to the enjoyment and performance of over 30 planners Click apply. If you dont have a CV just send us a way of contacting you and we can get to the CV later.Everyone will receive a response.
