Archant Technology, is responsible for providing technical support to Archant employees across the business. Day to day, this starts with the in-house support of our end users, plus the associated Applications and Infrastructure layer. Internal development teams support business objectives and requirements to deliver small, medium and large projects, together with our Business Analysis and Testing function.We are currently looking for a systems developer to join our talented and progressive team. You will be instrumental in the transition of our legacy applications/systems to cloud based applications and ensuring our core applications and platforms can communicate effectively with each other. You will work closely with our Commercial and Product teams, to develop, deploy and debug cloud based .Net Core web applications for our customer reporting platform hosted on AWS.The ability to build effective working relationships with various stakeholders across the business is vital to this role so your communication skills will be second to none. As will your organisation and time management skills.The successful candidate will have:· Minimum of 2 years experience of working within an AWS cloud environment· Demonstrable experience of utilising AWS solutions including, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk and Cloud Watch· Extensive software development with C# and ASP.Net Core 2.0 and MVC frameworks· Good knowledge of JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap· Hands on experience of Microservices within a serverless architecture· Experience of WCF/Restful services/Web API’s· Strong Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL experience· Source Control experience (ideally GIT)Salary and Benefits· Competitive salary circa £35k· Full time permanent position· 25 days paid holiday + statutory bank holidays· Agile working· Ongoing training and development· Exclusive Archant discount app, save on shops, restaurants and holidays· Cycle to Work schemeWhat nextTo apply for this role, please send your CV and covering letter detailing your relevant experience and salary.Closing date for receiving CV’s is Friday 5th March 2021.After receiving your CV, we will create a short list of candidates to invite for interview.
