Job Description

Sustainability Co-ordinatorEast Anglia New Build HousingHowells are working with one of the countrys most successful Housing Developers to recruit an Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator in East Anglia. They are multi awarded winning business with a reputation for providing fantastic training, developmentand progression.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative individual with a commitment to sustainable and environmental excellence and innovation, to move into the construction industry.The successful candidate will be required to create a positive approach to help and drive a culture of excellence in environmental and sustainable practices, collating data and providing documented reports and findings, including recommendations for improvement.Duties include:

  • Co-ordination of regional sustainability initiatives, ensuring all documents and reports are updated and distributed accordingly.
  • Provide in house awareness workshops to promote understanding as appropriate.
  • Provide advice as required on current best practice and improvements in relation to sustainability.
  • Support LIMS and other business systems with data collation and reports as required.
Ideal candidate:
  • Degree in sustainability (or equivalent) desirable, with knowledge of environmental and social value legislation.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and production of accurate reports.
  • Strong ability to plan workload and achieve deadlines.
  • A proven team player with good communication skills and able to engage others.
  • Driving licence required.
