Reed Procurement and Supply Chain are working with a well-known organisation to recruit a Senior Supplier Development Manager due to increasing company growth. You will support the supplier risk & development function and lead the strategicsupplier development activity with respect to production material supply.Supervision & mentoring of SDEs and Coordinators is required as part of the role.Role Objectives:Supplier Development: Develop, release, and manage processes relating to supplier logistics compliance, ie management of inbound quarantine, logistics deviation approvals, logistics non-conformance reporting & rectification, and cost recovery.Supplier Performance: Act as a point of escalation for any ad hoc supplier performance issues in relation to the supply of direct materialSupplier Management: Represent the supply base and maintain healthy business relationships.Production Support: Interface with other departments to understand stakeholder concerns with respects to material supply.Supplier Ratings / Sourcing: Provide relevant input in support of the Supplier Ratings process.Leadership: Provide leadership and mentoring to any junior members of the team.Person Specification:
