Location Banham NorfolkStart Date - ASAPJob Role - PFA Mentor (Preparation for Adulthood)HRGO Education are looking for a PFA Mentor to work with children aged 16. This role will be supporting children that are preparing to transition into further Education.You will work with students, teachers, parents, carers, and other professionals to inform and support students independence. Evaluate and evidence students progress, personalities, abilities, and interests using records, interviews, or professional sources.PFAs will also need to reflect with the learner and look at the next steps to extending learning. As a preparing for adulthood mentor, you will need to be creative and flexible to support individuals in career and independence techniques, such as life skills,cooking, Health and wellbeing, budgeting, shopping, housekeeping, College/ Job interviews, CV writing, Supporting apprenticeships, traineeships, community travel (TITAN).It may be an advantage to have professional qualifications or training in areas such as health, psychology, education, guidance, or youth or social work.You will need to demonstrate a good standard of general education, and you will need Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.Qualities and experience we look for:
