Job Description

Our client, a specialist in Consulting Structural and Civil Engineers, is currently recruiting a Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Norwich. They have a highly experienced team of Engineers and Design Specialists who work very closely withtheir clients. They liaise with Architects and Developers to provide a high specification of Engineering solutions.My client is interested in any Graduate students who have been studying this at University, with at least 3 years of experience.The successful Structural Engineer will be offered:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 depending on relevant experience
  • Mileage allowance for business trips.

Working hours:As a Structural Engineer, youll be required to work Monday - Friday full time 37.5 hours a week. My client offers a flexible working pattern and the possibility of hybrid working.To be considered for the Structural Engineer role you must have experience with:
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • Civils 3D
  • AutoCAD LT
  • Tekla structures
  • Microdrainage WinDes
  • SCIA Engineer preferable
  • Xpsite 3D
As a Structural Engineer your role will involve the following:
  • Assisting the Directors and CAD Engineering Manager
  • Undertake site inspections, testing and investigations
  • Preparation of engineering drawings using CAD
  • Design work
  • Site surveys and insitu testing
  • Site supervision
  • Liaising with Architects, clients and design team members
