Job Description

Established in 1928, Holden Group is a family-owned group of Car Dealerships in Norwich, Norfolk. Representing Kia, Volvo, Honda, Renault, Dacia and MG, we offer new, nearly new and approved used cars and vans, as well as servicing, repairs and maintenanceservices.Working hours:Mon to Fri, 8am - 6pm (1x weekday off) + Saturday & Sunday on rota.Benefits:

Role ResponsibilitiesStock Controller (Used Cars):
  • Controlling the Volvo used vehicle operation, reporting directly to the Sales Manager
  • Holding responsibility for the valuation, purchase, display and digital presentation of all used vehicle stock
  • Controlling the company used vehicle website advertisements, Auto Trader and all other digital sales media
  • Supporting and covering the Sales Manager when required
  • Monitoring and adjusting used vehicle prices daily, to maintain a healthy used vehicle stock turn around and maximise profits
  • Adhering to the Company used vehicle stocking policy
  • Forecasting monthly performance against budget plans and monitoring opportunities for improvement and assisting in implementation
  • Monitoring the sales process with the Sales Manager
  • Maintaining the highest levels of customer care and strengthening staff relationships
Person Specification:
  • A proven track record as a Stock Controller ideally in the automotive industry
  • Able to work using your own initiative, with good leadership skills
  • Strong customer service skills for when interacting with clients to assist them with finding a car
  • Approachable and professional
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
  • A flexible approach and an eye for detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
