Job Description

In the Strategic Asset Management team, our data driven analytics and innovative thinking help us discover how, where, andwhen our investment strategy can deliver on this vision for hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK.The team of Stock Condition and EPC Surveyors help drive performance across our property portfolio, and to ensure the integrity and reliability of our data is maintained for us to meet the compliance requirements around stock condition and asset management.You will undertake surveys, relating to the condition of housing stock, that will inform strategic investment decisions, in addition to determining the age and lifetime of key building components to help us build long term planned programmes of work.The team of Stock Condition and EPC Surveyors will assess the energy performance of our properties and also undertake RdSAP energy data surveys and lodge these through an accredited body. This will contribute towards the wider strategy of achieving EPCBand C for our portfolio before 2030.To help us ensure we meet our statutory requirements such as Decent Homes or HHSRS you will have an understanding around such legislation and be able to carry out a dynamic risk assessments to ensure our homes are safe for our customers.Working collaboratively across the rest of the strategic asset management team and the wider business through our processes around providing on our stock data and dynamically to ensure any identified repair issues are facilitated through the proper channels.The role will require travel across Orbits key geographies and expenses will be covered in line with Orbits expenses policy.What will help you make a difference.

  • Experience delivering Stock Condition Surveys
  • Experience conducting EPC Surveys
  • Experience performing HHSRS assessments
  • Good knowledge of environmental and property legislation
  • Ability to travel to properties across Orbits geography
