An enginering manufacturing company is searching for a Software Development Engineer to design and implement improvements to front and back end system software to meet specific project requirement sets. The successful candidate will investigatesystem capability and usability, and through the application of new technologies and techniques, make refinements to systems and graphical interfaces.This is a challenging role within an exciting company at the forefront of its industry, providing you with the opportunity to drive innovation as part of a successful and growing Research and Development department.As a Software Development Engineer you will, amongst other things, design and develop new software (written in C++ to MISRA compliance), deploy software on Linux-based systems, administrate those systems, design and implement Graphical UserInterfaces, and use scientific and mathematical problem-solving skills.The following personal attributes are essential:
