Job Description

Site Manager - Spider is advertising on behalf of a company based in Thetford, Norfolk whois a leading name in the world of plastics coating and laminating, and book protection and has become synonymous with quality and service. This is an exciting time for an experienced Site Manager to join the business as Ryco is under new leadership!The Site Manager to oversee site workers and ensure that site targets are met. The Site Manager responsibilities include overseeing all site management and their departments including, production, logistics, facility management, sales and research and development. You will ensure that all manufacturing and operations arecompleted in a qualitative, safe, and timely manner. You should also be able to enforce compliance with safety (HSE and Food Hygiene) regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, pollution, and ill health.Other duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline site operations.
  • Screening, recruiting, and training new site workers.
  • Collaborating with the Compliance Partner to assist with Hazard Analysis and Risk Management and establish and execute quality and safety control processes.
  • Ensuring that site structures are in a good state of repair, and machinery and equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
  • Analysing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
  • Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
  • Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards,
  • Motivating site workers to continually achieve site targets.
  • Maintaining the required Gross Margin and EBIT targets
  • Communicating directly to the entire Sales Team on a weekly basis, ensuring 90 Day Sales Visibility.
To be successful as a Site Manager, you should be a strong leader and demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and resolve any issues. Ultimately, you should have exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills to ensurethat site operations run smoothly. Ideally have a bachelors degree in business administration, industrial management, logistics, or related field. Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Certification in productionand inventory management as well as quality control. Lean Six Sigma Certification (or equivalent). Sound knowledge of industry-specific site equipment.
