Interaction Recruitment Norwich are recruiting on behalf of our client near Norwich Airport who are looking for a Shift Team Leader to join a highly successful and rapidly expanding company on a full-time, temp to perm, basis. Our client is a market leading company making inspirational and innovate PVC products. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that their team are working efficiently and hitting production targets.Team Leader Main duties: Allocate work to colleagues understanding their skills to perform these tasks. Ensure they carry out these tasks to the companys procedures in order that the product is machined and welded to the appropriate standard. Allocate work by liaising with the Fabrication Supervisor Report any over or under capacity situations Maintain a smooth flow of work through the department to deliver to customers on time and in full Proactively looking at error proofing and root causes for any quality issue raised from customers through the company Quality Management system to ensure there are no repeat occurrences. Operating and programming Fabrication Machinery as and when required, operating fabrication machinery in the absence of colleagues to target a ratio of 80% of time to be direct work. Fabrication Team Leader required skills and experience: Experience in a Team Leader position Must have Fabrication knowledge and experience Ability to lead by example, gain respect from team and communicate with clarity whilst demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisation skills Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time Ability to plan, analyse and challenge Able to work cross functionally and collaboratively with many stakeholders Solid understanding of all people related processes and procedures Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality This is a full time, temp to perm position, Mon Thurs 15:00pm to 12:00am and Friday 15:00pm -19:00pm 40 Hours paid (breaks paid)£11ph If the above role sounds perfect for you, please click apply.
