Job Description

Shift EngineerRecruitment Agency Reference: J72444A position has arisen for a permanent Shift Engineer within an established organisation in Norwich. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining optimal performance and uptime of assigned industrial equipment. Starting salary between £28,000 and £32,000plus a shift allowance of £18,732 per annum.Please note these are 12 hours shifts on a 4 on 4 off rota.Your duties will include:

  • Performing required break fix, preventative maintenance, and machine optimization requirements to large industrial equipment
  • Maintaining all administrative documentation and system tracking requirements in a timely and complete manner to ensure service records, activity tracking, analytics and expense requirements are captured correctly
  • Engaging with dispatched installation assignments
  • Understanding, reviewing and striving to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continually improve performance
  • Performing ongoing operator skills development, SOP training and maintenance requirements to ensure all equipment is being managed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner
The successful candidate should have:
  • Previous experience in a break fix service environment
  • Exposure to carrying out maintenance in the manufacturing sector
  • Please note a clean valid driving license will be required for this role
