Role: Sheet Metal Engineer Salary:£27,000-£32,000pa (£13 - £15 per hour) Hours: Monday-Thursday, 08.00-16.30, Friday 08.00-15.30 + Overtime at timeLocation: Norwich, Norfolk Job type: Full time, PermanentInteraction have partnered with an established sheet metal & structural steel installation & manufacturer based in the Norwich area. Due to continuous expansion over the past 12 months, this client are welcoming an additional sheet metal worker on a full timepermanent basis.The Package o 33 Days annual leave inclusive of public holidays o Training & development opportunities surrounding welding & fabrications o Overtime readily available all paid at timeo Annual salary reviews to enhance pay rates o Pension Scheme & Onsite ParkingThe Role: o The use of punch, press machinery working on industrial grade stainless, galvanised & mild steel o Produce products for the industrial/commercial industry (ventilation, ducts, balustrades & staircases) o Work from technical drawings to cut, drill & machine components in line with specifications o Abide to current health & safety legislationsRequirements: o Previous experience as a sheet metal worker / welder fabricator (essential) o A good understanding of punch press machines, hand tools, cutting machinery & working with stainless/mild or galvanised steel o The ability to work from technical drawings o Able to work alone and as part of a teamSimilar roles may include: Sheet metal worker, sheet fabricator, welder fabricator, metal machinist.Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
